How to Enable Javascript

To fully experience our website and other websites, the use of javascript is required. These step-by-step instructions tell you how to enable javascript in many common browsers. Select your browser from the links to the right to jump directly to instructions for that browser.

Firefox 2.x (Windows)

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click on the Content icon.
  3. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Firefox 1.x (Windows)

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click Web Features in the Options list.
  3. In the Web Features section, check the box next to Enable JavaScript..
  4. Click OK.
  5. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Firefox 1.x and 2.x (Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences from the Firefox menu.
  2. Click the Content icon.
  3. Check Enable JavaScript.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Internet Explorer 5-7.x (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
  5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
  6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
  7. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the View menu.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Set the security level for this zone to Custom (for expert users).
  4. Click the Settings button (to the right of Custom).
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list and enable Active scripting.
  6. Click the OK button to close the Security Settings window. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
  7. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Netscape 7.x (Windows & Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. In the Category pane, click the arrow next to Advanced to expand the menu.
  3. Click Scripts & Plugins
  4. Under the heading Enable JavaScript for, check the Navigator check box.
  5. Click OK at the bottom of the Preferences window.
  6. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Safari (Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
  2. In the Security window, check the Enable JavaScript check box.
  3. Close the Security window.
  4. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.

Opera 7.x-9.x

  1. Select Quick preferences from the Tools menu.
  2. Check the Enable JavaScript check box in the pop-out menu.
  3. Refresh the page. Javascript is now turned on.
